biggest disappointments
2015年3月20日New Orleans Saints Take Top Spot
The NFL Power Rankings for Week 3 (which actually follows the second week of football, but everybody except Fox Sports wants to either count the Preseason Power Rankings or use the lists as prelude to the forthcoming week, so it’s Week 3) are showing a bit of strange movement in deference to teams that are surprisingly undefeated after two games the Houston Texans, the Miami Dolphins, and the Chicago Bears. The defending Super Bowl champs, the New Orleans Saints, led all the power rankings as it should be. But the 2 and 3 teams might have been bit of a surprise for many, considering that those positions were supposed to be held by the Minnesota Vikings, the Indianapolis Colts, and/or the Dallas Cowboys. But those teams didn’t win their first games. In fact, the Dallas Cowboys and the Minnesota Vikings lost their second games as well. The Green Bay Packers, which had moved up considerably in the NFL power rankings in Week 2, either remained at 2 (ESPN, CBS) or fell to 3 (Fox Sports). The surprisingly undefeated Pittsburgh Steelers took the 2 position on the Fox Sports NFL Power Rankings for Week 3 (they placed 4 and 5 in the CBS and ESPN lists, respectively). The 3 position went to the also surprisingly undefeated Houston Texans in the CBS and ESPN NFL Power Rankings.
Those same Texans were at 4 in the Fox Sports http://www.blackhawksteamproshop.com/Jonathan_Toews_Jersey rankings.
The Indianapolis Colts, who lost to the Texans in their first outing, stomped the New York Giants in the Manning Bowl (Colts quarterback Peyton versus Giants quarterback Eli) and were placed at 4 in Patrick Kane Authentic Jersey the ESPN rankings for Week 3, 5 on the Fox list, and 6 with ESPN.
The surprise entry Marian Hossa Jersey in the Top 10 in Week 3 was the Miami Dolphins. After beating Minnesota in game two, the Dolphins will face six straight opponents who are currently ranked in the Top 15 of the rankings lists. The Dolphins are ranked 5 in CBS’ NFL Power Rankings, 7 by ESPN, and 8 by Fox Sports.
Another surprising Top 10 entry was the Chicago Bears, Patrick Kane Youth Jersey who also remained undefeated. The Bears took a 8 seat with CBS and a 9 position with Fox Sports (but only a 12 with ESPN).
And still another shocking Top 10 entry appeared in the form of the Kansas City Chiefs in the Fox Sports NFL Power Rankings. Despite being undefeated and knocking off San Diego in the first week of play CBS and ESPN show the Chiefs no respect and left them at the 20 spot.
The shockers of the week? Miami’s win over the Vikings definitely qualified, but so did the complete annihilation of the Giants at the hands of the Super Bowl runners up Colts. It Marian Hossa Authentic Jersey looked as if Indianapolis was really annoyed that they allowed the Houston Texans to beat them in the season opener.
The biggest movers within the NFL Power Rankings for Week 3? The Chicago Bears jumped ten slots in the ESPN list, landing at 12, and 12 spots for CBS to land at 8. The Denver Broncos jumped 13 positions in the Fox rankings to land at 15. In the opposite direction, it would appear that the Dallas Cowboys and the Minnesota Vikings were the biggest disappointments. The Cowboys fell 14 notches in the Fox Sports NFl Power Rankings and 11 in CBS’. And although Dallas dropped 9 places in the ESPN list, Minnesota dropped 12.
Interesting games to watch for in Week 3 will be a couple battles of the undefeateds: Pittsburgh vs. Tampa Bay and Green Bay vs. Chicago. There is one game where the teams are fighting for the division cellar Detroit vs. Minnesota. Games to watch: Dallas is at Houston, hoping to resurrect a dying season while they still can. The tough Atlanta Falcons will take on the New Orleans Saints and try to unseat them from the tie for the NFC South Division lead. Indianapolis will take on Denver in what looks to be a high scoring affair and the Jets will travel to Miami to see if they can hand the Dolphins their first loss in blackhawksteamproshop.com/Duncan_Keith_Jersey intra division match up.
